Megan Brooks

Certified Personal Trainer – NASM
Hi! My name is Megan Brooks. I am trained to help you reach your fitness goals with safety, effectiveness, and a splash of fun. I’ve been a personal trainer since 2019 and specialize in group fitness. Join me Wednesdays at 9am for Bootcamp—a fun, energetic workout that builds strength and endurance with modifications for all fitness levels.

Outside of training, I’m a wife, mom of four beautiful girls, a registered nurse, and most importantly, a child of God.

Jennifer Gilbreth

Certified Personal Trainer – National Personal Training Institute
Group Power Certified – MOSSA

Jennifer brings over two years of personal training experience and a lifelong dedication to wellness. She lives in Monroe, GA, and works at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Jennifer loves helping others grow stronger, healthier, and more confident through fitness. She enjoys exploring wellness topics through books and podcasts and is excited to bring her energy to the YMCA community.


Valerie Grindle

Certified Personal Trainer – NASM
Certified Nutrition Coach – NASM

Valerie is a dedicated trainer with nearly five years of experience in functional strength, balance, stability, and weight loss. She takes a holistic approach to health, combining training with realistic nutrition strategies. Valerie is known for her supportive style and custom-tailored programs. Outside the gym, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs.

Kristen has been teaching fitness classes since 2011 and is passionate about helping others become fit, healthy, and strong. After losing weight herself in 2005, she’s made it her mission to support others on their journeys. She’s been happily married for 29 years and is the proud mom of two sons.


Nickie Puls

Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Nickie has spent over 10 years inspiring people through fun, music-driven fitness classes. Raised in a musical household, she brings rhythm and energy to every session. Zumba was her first fitness love, and she now teaches a wide range of formats, including:

Cody Thorton

Certified Personal Trainer – ISSA

Cody began his fitness journey to become the best version of himself and inspire his daughter in the process. Now he helps others gain confidence through training. He specializes in core training, fat loss, and strength development. Cody enjoys training individuals, pairs, and small groups, always bringing energy and encouragement to the gym.
