This Giving Tuesday, the Brad Akins YMCA will inspire generosity by sharing ways that everyone can get involved in making our communities better. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. Giving Tuesday will kick off the giving season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 28th and throughout the rest of the year.
Visit us at the YMCA Welcome Center on Tuesday, November 28th and check out our Giving Tree. Choose a cause you would like to support off of our Giving Tree, and give a gift to provide an amazing experience for a child, adult or
family at our Y.
Our YMCA has joined this movement in order to share the impact our organization and generous supporters can have on the lives of those in our very own community. 100% of donations given to our YMCA will stay at our YMCA to provide financial assistance to those who otherwise would not be able to participate in Y programs and services.
Lifechanging opportunities will come from the gifts of people in our community in the form of swim lessons for youth, scholarships for families and a safe place to be after school in our program.
