For all Lessons (offered year round) - Items Needed: Bring a towel and suit. Goggles are also recommended. Children under the age of 4 or not potty trained must wear a swim diaper. No regular diapers please.
All parents are responsible for the safety of their own children during swim lessons. Participants ages 12 and under must have a parent on deck at all time.
In this program, children will learn to be confident and comfortable in the water and develop swim-readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences.Parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention and the importance of supervision.
One of our newest programs, adult group swim lessons are offered to swimmers ages 18+. Our certified instructors will lead participants in a four-on-one setting. Learn everything from drowning prevention tips to stroke development.
One of our newest programs, adaptive swim lessons are offered to swimmers ages 3 and up in a one-on-one setting with our certified instructors. Registration is available now at the YMCA Welcome Center.
Would you prefer one-on-one instruction? Our swim instructors are trained and ready to spend quality time with your child, from beginner to advanced. Sign up at the Welcome Center. An instructor will contact you within 48 hours of payment to schedule your first lesson. Private lessons are one on one. Semi-private lessons are two on one and participants are responsible for finding their own partners.
Private Lessons - Four 30 minute sessions: $110 for members / $145 for non-members
Semi-private Lessons - Four 45 minute lessons: $75 per child for members / $115 per child for non-members
Each session of Private and Semi Private Swim Lessons must be completed within one month of being contacted by the instructor.
